The best way to travel is by TRAIN. From Narita Airport take the Keisei Skyliner to Keisei Ueno Station and then follow the signs to
JR Ueno （上野）Station (few minutes walking) and board the Shinkansen
Bullet train from there . The shink has a NICE VIEW! ￥6000 total.

(Alternatively, you can take the Bus from Narita for 3.5 hours and just sleep. Cost = ￥4070 ）

The BUS dropoff point is near GYOZAKAN.

To Kyoto by Shinkansen -￥17 800 3.5 hours

A special for those who want to travel more than 1 region of Japan, and if you can stay a few weeks. If you are planning on seeing Kyoto, Kyuushuu or Hokkaido I recommend it, otherwise, just pay as you go.

But the only thing that Kyoto has that Nikko doesnt is this: the GOLDEN TEMPLE!
